Adam S. Gaynor is Vice President of Advertising and Data Solutions Sales for AMC Networks. Adam oversees the development and monetization of all advanced and data-driven TV advertising opportunities across the AMC Networks portfolio. He leads the team that partners with Business Intelligence, Research, Data Science, and Content and Inventory Strategy to enhance existing and cultivate new relationships with national advertisers seeking to leverage data-driven tactics. Adam joined AMC Networks in March, 2017. As a media sales veteran of more than two decades, Adam gained expertise across both the traditional and digital universes including cable television, Video-On-Demand and advanced advertising.

Prior to joining AMC Networks, Adam spent nearly nine years at DISH Network, where he most recently led the company’s media sales team and advanced advertising initiatives including addressable, interactive and programmatic platforms. Before DISH, Adam served as Executive Director of Digital Media and Interactive Advertising Sales for Game Show Network, where he led the creation and subsequent sale of strategic, cross-platform marketing solutions. He began his career at CBS in the New Media division and held various advertising sales roles with increasing responsibility at TechTV and Comcast Networks.

Adam serves on the board of directors for the IRTS Foundation, an organization with a focus on building future media leaders. Adam also serves on the board of VMA Media, an organization dedicated to bringing together industry executives and decision-makers for essential discussions that advance the efficiency of marketing and advertising investments. He received dual bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Psychology from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University. He resides in New Jersey with his wife and their two children.
